crucial base for exploring charming sheringham attractions on foot
Staying here made my weekend good as it was so easy to walk into town and enjoy attractions like the fishermen's heritage centre and beautiful views at beeston bump. The room was big and comfortable with plenty of space for my luggage.

Breakfast was a feast fit for kings, and the Italian grilled meat at the local Poppy Fields left me dreaming for days. The owners were warm and cute.
Sure, those new houses may have taken the edge off the view, but I could still glimpse the sea, and the charm of the place shone through regardless.

All fine, but carpeted bathrooms.

The view was frankly ruined by the new houses blocking it, which woudl ve been fine if they'd provided complementary drinks or snacks for the inconvenience. The steep walk from the station is defintely not for the faint-hearted. I almost left a good review but just couldn't bring myself to do it.

The large double room features a unique circular seating area surrounded by windows.
The steep walk from the station can be a bit daunting for some, especially on the way back after a long day. It's manageable once you find shortcuts. A radio in the room would have made for better background ambiance, and the carpeted bathroom isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Why I'm torn on this
The location was quiet but close to attractions! Breakfast was scrumptious, with a lovely variety that delighted us each morning.
Still, the steep walk from the station could leave some feeling winded. A few may find parking tougher during busy weekends.

Staying at ashbourne house bed & breakfast was a delight. The breakfast each morning was lovely, and it was so nice to interact with the friendly owners. We enjoyed our large double room with an en-suite, especially the circular seating area surrounded by windows where we could unwind and listen to the waves. The view of the town lit up at night was an added bonus.

The beautiful garden was a perfect spot for relaxing, and I loved having breakfast on the sunny terrace each morning. Plenty of quiet nooks around made it easy to unwind with a good book. Just a tiny thing, but a radio in the room would have been nice for some background tunes. 😊
